Coverages: Business Insurance
a. Property — Coverage to protect the assets of the commercial insured. In simple terms, it is insurance on buildings and contents. It also covers items of personal property other than those that are strictly contents of buildings, and includes coverage for business income loss.
b. Casualty (Liability) — Coverage to protect an insured from claims filed by other against them due to the insured's negligence.
c. Worker's Compensation — covers the medical expenses and lost income of your employees if they are hurt in the course of doing work-related activities.
d. Excess Liability (Umbrella) — a policy that provides coverage once the primary policy limit is exhausted. This used in combination with GL and AL to meet Company-required limits.
e. Errors and Omissions — coverage that indemnifies the insured for any loss sustained because of an error or oversight on his part
f. Commercial Automobile — coverage to protect businesses against financial loss that can occur because of the ownership and use of vehicles
g. Bonds — is a way to assure payment (or performance of something) for an event that really should never happen.
